Now click on 3DHOMEV3.EXE inside the PROGRAM folder, and 3D Home Architect Deluxe 3.0 should run just as it did in the past! ![]() Next, go to C:\Program Files (x86) (Start -> Computer -> Local Disk (C:) -> Program Files (x86)) and paste the folder. Right click to open the program in the disk drive again. However, you can work around this problem. Step 2: Even in compatibility mode, Home Architect would not install for me either. For good measure, I also placed the files in C:\Windows\System32. Then place them in C:\Windows\system (Start -> Computer -> Local Disk (C:) -> Windows -> system). Next, search the disk drive for "D3DRM" and copy the files Iago Fredo mentions: Don't bother trying to install it since nothing will happen if you click install and you may receive an error message along the lines of the program not being compatible with a 32-bit or 64-bit OS. Then, go to Start -> Computer and right click on the program to open it (mine was in the F drive). Step 1: First, put the CD in the disk drive. For anyone still not sure what to do, I'll adapt his instructions to explain how I got it to work. I just got the 3D Home Architect Deluxe 3.0 program to work on my new Windows 7 64-bit laptop, thanks to Iago Fredo's awesome instructions and a little bit of guesswork.
